Though this internship may be the most exciting experience of my life, waiting for it to begin is literally killing me. Unlike the rest of the YIIPers (York International Internship Program-ers for you non-Yorkies), I must wait in limbo till June for my internship to commence. So until then, I'll be suffering while reading other blogs regarding the varying levels of culture shock.

Everyone over here (Keele, Staffordshire, UK) is telling me that the weather will get nice "soon", as in late June/early July. So just think! You'll be in for a less cold and drizzly experience thanks to that wait!
